About Vic Lazzaro

Vic Lazzaro, Managing Director

Vic Lazzaro is a Managing Director with TIVIS Capital. With over 20 years of senior management experience in the health and managed care fields, he has held positions responsible for marketing, finance, administration and healthcare delivery.

Mr. Lazzaro formed International Health Technology Company (IHT), a consulting firm, early in 2005. IHT has a number of activities including developing and managing medical clinics and hospitals in China. Currently, Mr. Lazzaro serves as president and CEO of Signum US Healthcare, developing CyberKnife®-focused surgery clinics in China, and president and CEO of Bridge Healthcare International, Inc., a B to B medical tourism company. Mr. Lazzaro also serves on the board of Disaboom, Inc. previously, through IHT; Mr. Lazzaro functioned as general manager of a hospital in China. IHT also is involved in other domestic consulting and advisory roles.

Previously, Mr. Lazzaro was president and CEO of United Healthcare Corporation - Mountain States (UHC). Prior to his position at UHC, Mr. Lazzaro was regional vice president of Health Plan Operations, Gulf South for Prudential Insurance Company of America. At Prudential, he also had CEO responsibility for healthcare management in the Houston Health Plan, Arkansas, Southeast Texas and Louisiana, where his responsibilities included oversight of 30 primary and multi-specialty care clinics. Prior to entering health care, Mr. Lazzaro was International Controller of a Black & Decker Subsidiary.

Mr. Lazzaro is an active board member of a number of charity and business organizations and previously served on the advisory board of MediExpress, a UHC affiliate, in Kuala Lumpur. He is also a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado at Denver MBA in Health Administration program. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania.
